FRED THOMPSON


Fred Thompson is no stranger to being in the public eye. As a one-time senator, presidential candidate, federal prosecutor, radio commentator, film and TV star, Thompson clearly has the requisites for an inciteful and decisive talk show host. March 2nd, the Fred Thompson Show will take to the air to address issues that really matter to the American people. For two hours,  Monday thru Friday, the show will cover politics, topical issues, pop culture, special guest interviews and calls from listeners nationwide.
    From 1994 through 2003, Fred represented Tennessee as a U.S. Senator. He has served as Chairman of the International Security Advisory Board at the United State Department of State, is a member of the China Economic and Security Review Commission, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and is a Visiting Fellow with the American Enterprise Institute, specializing in national security and intelligence. In 2008 he made a brief, unsuccessful run for the Republican presidential nomination.
    As an actor, Thompson has appeared in a large number of movies and television shows, frequently portraying governmental figures.
