July 4th, the First Annual Lake Havasu Freedom Festival and Fireworks Show takes place at Rotary Park in Lake Havasu. The Festival offers free family fun and entertainment with exciting activities for all ages. Two water slides, bounce tent, water balloon area, egg toss, watermelon and pie-eating contests are just a few of the events planned for the day. One of the highlights is a live stage show presented by Chuck E Bumps with full band, horns and dancers.
Traditional 4th of July food will be available at unbelievable cost. 50-cent hot dogs and pizza. 25-cent beverages and sno cones.
At 9:00 pm, the Fireworks Show begins from Spectator Point providing the Grand Finale' to this day dedicated to a celebration of our freedoms.
The event is sponsored by the Lake Havasu Professional Firefighters Association, local businesses, organizations and individuals, but they can still use help.
There are a variety of ways to make a donation:
1. Visit one of the many fund raisers being held thru out Lake Havasu
2. Go on-line at www.lhcfireworks.com
3. Drop the donation off at any Lake Havasu fire station
